Writing memoir can be daunting. What if you don't remember everything? How do you know what to focus on? How do you make a cohesive book out of fragmented memories? The answer is to approach memoir as a mosaic and embrace the fractured nature of memory with poetry, lists, vignettes, essay, conversations, letters, and more. This workshop is focused on writing and creating the first few pieces of your memoir mosaic with guidance and inspiration from author and editor Jalyn Renae Fiske.
