Breadcrumbing to Build Worlds

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Frisco Library

Description

Join award-winning author of speculative fiction Jalyn Renae Fiske for a free writing class on the art of crafting worldbuilding in your stories. In 2024, she gave a Worldbuilding 101 talk on the basics of worldbuilding. This class will go more in depth into how to actually write and incorporate worldbuilding into your story through breadcrumbing. She'll discuss the concept of breadcrumbing, which is giving the reader little bits of clues and information at a time instead of all at once, and show examples of how it's done. If you attended her earlier Breadcrumbing to Build Suspense class, this will add to that knowledge, as well.
