Add a CommentIt all starts with a mischievous leprechaun (is there any other kind?) in New Hampshire. But it ends with a kingdom (called Monemvassia) which happily lacks a king, but boasts a quietly cunning baker’s assistant. In between are five more delightful short stories in which the everyday is touched by just a bit of magic. Highly recommended for discerning readers aged 10-100.
These were fun stories, each with its own twist. I especially enjoyed the title story, with the elf prince who couldn't understand what a modern young woman might want - or why she wouldn't want three wishes.
