I am only doing 0 stars to annoy my brother but, its still is a wonderful book

This is one of my favorite books in the Harry Potter series. It's a comfort book for me, and I love that we get a look into more layers of Harry's character. This book keeps you guessing, and exposes more secrets and parts of Hogwarts. It deepens friendships, creates connections you didn't even realize existed, and sets up an incredible storyline that continues to be prevalent in the rest of the series.

Harry Potter starts off the story by spending a terrible summer with the Dursleys. At a dinner party, a house-elf named Dobby visits him. Dobby warns him to not return Hogwarts to which Harry disregards. Dobby rages and starts making a mess in the kitchen to which Harry gets punished for and becomes locked in his room. However, Ron Weasley, Harry’s friend, saves him and he spends the rest of his summer at Weasley’s house before returning to Hogwarts. I rarely find myself not enjoying anything to do with magic, and this is not one of the cases. The Harry Potter series has always been one of my favorites and this book did not let me down.

Chamber of Secrets sees Harry and Co. enter their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We get introduced to new characters like Dobby the house-elf and new mechanics of the wizarding world, like flying cars and irritable, violent trees. Harry faces challenges of identity and develops his friendships and wizarding skills under the expert tutelage of Professors McGonagall and Flitwick, notwithstanding his conflicts with Professors Snape and Lockhart, who is the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher this year. This is the ultimate comfort novel; the book’s message is unwaveringly heartwarming, and I recommend it to anyone who needs some nostalgia or just some good cheering up.

The sequel to the exciting first novel in the Harry Potter series definitely doesn’t capitulate to disappointment. With the unexpected assistance of a mysterious elf, Harry enters his second year at Hogwarts, unprepared for a fighting-back tree Whomping Willow, a colony of spiders, and most mysterious bloody words inscripted on the walls of Hogwarts that talks about a “Chamber of Secrets” and establishes the unknown writer’s desire for vengeance against the half-bloods and Muggles. Readers from all ages will surely find this an excellent sequel to the first novel as it uncovers more about the history and antiquities of the wizarding world.

If you enjoy adventurous stories and fantasy I believe Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the perfect book for you. Following Harry's previous year at Hogwarts he and his friends decide to attempt to solve the crisis occurring at Hogwarts as they learn more in depth about magic and their personal abilities. Just like all of the other books in this series the vivid language, foreshadowing, and dialogue allows the reader to form a connection and stronger understanding of the plot and characters. I recommend this book and believe it is an story that will keep you entertained and engaged.

This book is the second book in the Harry Potter series. I think this is one of the most interesting novels as it explores more different characters in the series, introducing us to Dobby and Ginny as very interesting characters in the Harry Potter universe. We read a bit of the past in this novel from before Harry's birth and see how Voldemort showed his evil ways since he was a teenager. The story direction is way faster than the other Harry Potter books. This one is much quicker. It's also very interesting as it's another journey for Harry and his friends to finish. This novel shows their character development from the first one. I recommend this novel to anyone who likes fantasy. I would give this novel a rating of 5 out 5 stars.

I recently read the book: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, by J.K. Rowling. This is the second adaptation to the Harry Potter series. In this book, you see how differently the Dursleys act when Harry comes back from his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In this book, you experience more of the characteristics of the characters. You get introduced to the youngest (and only girl) Weasly: Ginny. The Weasleys open up to Harry as a real family, making The Burrow his second home. You also see more of the Malfoy family and their past actions. This book has more adventure and mystery, really captivating you into the story. In this book, J.K. Rowling also describes Tom Riddle’s (Voldemort) childhood and how similar it was to Harry’s childhood. The problem starts to get more complicated for the golden trio. This book is definitely just as captivating as the first one. I’d also recommended this for every age group. I rate this book a 5/5.

The Chamber of Secrets is the second instalment in the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter is about to start his second year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He expects it to be a normal year, but then a secret chamber opens, muggle-born students are attacked and Harry must put his life in danger once more. I enjoyed this book because it is packed with action, fantasy and creativity. My favourite part is when Harry goes back in time to witness the expulsion of his friend Hagrid when he was a young boy at Hogwarts. I would recommend this to anyone ages 9+ who loves fantasy stories. It is easy to read and the author, J. K. Rowling, did a great job of making the reader feel like they are right there with Harry experiencing all of his his adventures. It is definitely worth 5 stars.

When I read this, I was a slow reader, but I sped straight through this book, and couldn’t stop reading it. I couldn’t get enough of this, and continued onto the next book in the series. This book was better than the first book, and the first book already being so good, this book was amazing. There’s a good reason why this series is so famous. This book is shorter than some other books from this series. I hoped that it would be longer since this book was excellent. This book is great for young teens and adults as well.

This is a great great great book! I'm rereading the series again and after I read the book I watch the movie, but for The Chamber of Secrets I accidentally watched the movie first and then read the book. I do like the books better than the movies though.

Hermione: "Harry--I think I've just understood something! I've got to go to the library!"

And she sprinted away, up the stairs.

Harry: "What does she understand?"
Ron: "Loads more than I do."
Harry: "But why's she got to go to the library?"
Ron (shrugs): "Because that's what Hermione does. When in doubt, go to the library."
