Not my favorite WW2 historical women’s fic, but still informative. I really enjoyed the not often explored forgery element that takes front row in this story. I also thought the writing was fairly compelling. Two points prevented a 5-star rating from me: 1.) the characterization and predictability of the main antagonist and 2.) the final two pages of the book. When revealed, the antagonist came across as cliched. I felt like their explanation and dialogue were taken straight out of a B-movie. It wouldn't have surprised me if they had been twirling a villainous mustache. As for the final two pages, I didn't mind the eventual outcome of the book, but as written, I thought it was overly convenient and almost silly or cheesy (I dislike that description, but...)
