There are plenty of history books written for kids but very few written about kids. This book takes a fascinating look at how kids from different cultures and eras lived. With its sleek illustrations and graphics, this could be a great tool for kids struggling to find interest in history or social studies. There are plenty of history books written for kids but very few written about kids. This is a great series for Adventure Time fans and comic readers alike! The entire series is a compilation of short stories from a wide variety of authors and artists. Some dive deeper into elements from the show, others are just plain silly. The variety of art styles in this is especially fun! This Graphic novel checks so many boxes. As a story, it gracefully combines Sci-fi, fantasy, and a post-apocalypse without losing sight of the relationship between the characters. As a Graphic novel, the framing, paneling, and story structure are innovative and experimental without loosing the story.
